National Art Honor Society
This club promotes the visual arts in the school and the community. Students are involved in a variety of art related activities. Beginning in the fall they participate in creating a float for the homecoming parade, decorating and decorating halls. They often are asked throughout the year to paint murals for CHS and other schools in the district. They paint backdrops for plays, and face paint for community events, just to name a few things.  Students help with the middle school Visual Arts Scholastic Event. They also work one on one with CHS art teachers and other teachers with art related needs.

Meetings: Once a month for a regular meeting and as needed based for activities

Membership Requirements: Students are eligible if they have complete a semester of Art 1 with an 85 or better. Students earn hours to go on field trips as well as hours over the course of 3 years to earn the honor to wear the National Art Honor Society cords at graduation.
